Sharon-L-Jones

Sharon-L-Jones is a 46 year old African American female. She is a wife, mother of two and grandmother of four. She is a U.S. Army veteran, having served approximately 13 honourable years in the military, travelling to Europe and to the desert of Saudi Arabia. She endured poverty, abuse, and neglect as a child and mental and physical abuse as an adult but never lost her dignity or self respect.

She is a champion of children causes and says. “I have four young grandchildren who are my heart. My husband and I have custody of the oldest Alexus (6yrs) and Marqulus (4yrs). Their smiles, hugs, laughter, and watching their faces as they slumber in secure sleep means the world to us. We believe that it is our destiny to serve as guardian for these small beings.

My Alexus is just starting to read and someday I hope to have her enjoy “Granny’s” novel. I want my story published and made available to young girls everywhere.

Sharon is presently in the process of compiling a novel based on events that have occurred in her life. And I’m happy to announce that Women’s Words will be publishing Sharon’s novel in serial form. You can find the first instalment here
